It all begins with an idea. We are conducting a personal project for a school project that will inspire, inspire, and impact the world. As we were given the opportunity, I took it. I thought that making a project out of something that I had been interested in my whole life would be an amazing opportunity to gain knowledge and leave a mark. My learning goal was to investigate how horse therapy benefits people. I loved the idea of this since mental health has always been something that I want to raise awareness about and have a specific interest in.

This website was created to spread and share awareness while investigating the effects of equine-assisted therapy and its benefits to all kinds of people. My goal is for people to notice what "equine therapy" is and perhaps help them understand its many benefits. The reason behind this creation of the website is that I noticed that my coach supports people with intellectual disabilities and supports an organization called Special Olympics. The Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, offering year-round training and activities. I thought the Special Olympics was an amazing and heartwarming organization and wanted to connect my project around it.
